I can hear you saying “Not another Mummy blog!” and wondering what this one has that others do not. The answer? Nothing. I’m just a Mum (or ‘Mam’ in my neck of the woods!) who is sharing her mummy experiences as well as life in general.
As a first-time Mum, life has been…colourful. Take today for example, my 4 month old has had his final set of injections for this year and I think it has been our most dramatic yet. Never before have I seen my baby projectile vomit like something out of the exorcist. Cue me with cupped hands trying in vain to catch it. I didn’t stand a chance.
Isn’t it funny how you can’t remember life without your little ones? I don’t know how I managed without our daily song and dance to our favourite tunes. ‘Little Green Frog’ will be a permanent earworm in my brain! And how great it would be to go back to a time when leaving the house was simple. These days it requires military precision to change the baby and pack the all important supplies. Nobody wants to be caught short when your little one decides it’s time “to go” and the nappy fails us.
Well, that’s it from me. Short and sweet for today but I hope you stick around! I’m off to have cuddles with my poorly boy whilst he pretends that I don’t exist because Baby TV has more to offer!
(Disclaimer: We don’t make a habit of allowing him to watch TV but we’ll take any distraction today!)
